Everyone who knew Dean well misses him the most at this time of the year. He was such a caring and generous man. Now, as some of you know, he continues to help us get through the loss of not seeing his human body. From the time he was a small child he was always giving away his megar belongings to others who had even less than he did. I purchased deanallendelong.net a few months ago. I hope to find someone to host the site and I hope to put regular postings there along with a bulletin board for anyone who wishes to post something when this guest book no longer exists. If you can help in some way let me know. Dean is still with us now, we just can not see him but I know some of you feel his presence now and again. He will again be with us when we watch the sun set on the last Saturday of our May family vacation. You are all welcome to come to the bridge and meet us there on May 21st. We'll watch the sunset and toss a few things into the water for him. Happy Holidays everyone :-)

Honey, We think of you every day and say a prayer for you every night. Jade wants you to know she is a big girl now and can do so many things. she can write the letter A now, draw smiley faces, put on her own shoes, and socks, loves to do just about everything all by herself. she is growing up right before my eyes and i cant do a thing to stop her. she looks more and more like you everyday. she has your chin, and your toes, and your body. i know you are up there watching every single moment of her growing up. she still talks to your star to let you know she has and will not ever forget her wonderful daddy. this house is just not a home without you and we miss you so much!!!!!!!! Dear Daddy, Jade and I were thinking of you all of the 4th of july. We put flowers on your sign and jade picked out the ribbon. we bought a dozen helium balloons, which jade wrote on, and sent them up to heaven with help from some of your good friends. jade was so thrilled that she told everyone she sent messages to heaven for daddy, all day long that day. we think of you every single day and miss you more each day. We say a prayer for you every single night and know you are listening. Jade wants you to know "that someday she will come to visit you up in heaven and she will be so happy to see you." We love you with all of our hearts and souls and are always thinking of you.We miss you like crazy. I just thought you should know that she is more like you every day. She wants to fix everything, and wants to do everything all by herself, and she laughs when i tell her that she has daddy's cute little feet. Dear Dean, Jade and I want to wish you a Happy Father's Day today. We placed a picture and some flowers at your sign and want the whole world to know how wonderful a father you were. Jade says "happy father's day to you" in a song today. We miss you more each day and please know you are in our prayers each night. Jade is very lucky to have had a father like you. Dean- There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you, or talk to you. A piece of my heart went with you and it can never be replaced. We were always very close growing up together at only a few years apart, and in adulthood. I could always come to you for advice about anything, no matter what it was and you were always there for me. You were much more than my nephew and I know you knew that. You were my friend, my advisor, my companion, my confidant, my father at times and you played many more roles in my life. Words can never express what you mean to me. I will always be there for Jade no matter what, as long as I am allowed to. I know you are with me here everyday making sure I don't mess up too much. I will always remember the good times and the way you got us through the bad times. No matter what happens, no one can take away my memories of our 37 years of growing up together. Dean, Our family vacation was not the same without you. We missed your smile, your help to take the boat out and most ly your hugs. I miss seeing you play cards with the family. The sunset was pretty on the bridge as we said our goodbyes. When we started talking about how much we missed you, I did not like the smoke alarm going off even after Gary took out the batteries. Your mom said it was as loud as the one that went off in Key West at 3:30 am before you, Michelle, Gary and your mom went to Fort Jefferson. I pray to God for the strength to carry on and help all the family over
your loss. I pray that Jade and Michelle will be strong and stay in your
new house. I know you are with Grandpa and you will always be in my heart.

Dear Dean, It seems like yesterday when you and M, moved into your home next to ours in Plantation. Robert always had to be up early on Sundays to go to work at 5:00am and it just so happened that our bedroom window backed up to your carport. Well do you remember a few Saturday nights when you and a few friends would decide to fix and run your motorcycles oh around 11:00pm. Well at that time we knew this would either be a love or hate relationship with you. But as it turned out the more we got to know you the more we loved you. There were many times you unselfishly came over and helped us fix something that was broken.When we decided to move north we had hoped you guys would follow and you did.
